The Marbled Godwit was still present at Wolfville Harbour this afternoon. Arrived about 2 p.m., about an hour before low tide but the mudflats were all exposed. No godwit in sight. While walking around to get a better angle, I heard it call but still couldn't find it. A mixed flock of Yellowlegs (~15) flew in & finally noted the godwit in a narrow depression in the mudflat about the middle of the harbour. It was well hidden. Also present was 1 Solitary (previously noted by others). I had also saw a small flock of peeps while I was watching the godwit but could not relocate them. Thanks to Bernard for finding the godwit & to Rick for alerting everyone. Angus
