I don't like to double post with NSRBA but this was a "huge" bird for me and another couple: Yesterday, September 4th, following reports from Bob McDonald & Ronnie D'Entremont, I felt I had to visit Pond Cove on Brier Island to try for this species. I met another pair of birders there doing exactly the same thing. After we had explored the entire shoreline from Little Pond Cove to Big Pond Cove, a Baird's flew in with about 3 Least Sandpipers. We only had 5-8 minutes with the birds before they left. I spent a total of 4 hours on this beach. I think we were lucky. I have six photos at the direct link below.
