Later yesterday, while out sailing with some friends who had = just returned to NS after several months of sailing, I was most = interested to learn that they had noted a striking drop in water = temperature (from approx 20 degrees to 12 degrees) while rounding Cape = Breton a few days ago, en route for Halifax. I told them my experience = and we all agreed we had never seen such a startling and rapid sea water = temperature change before.
