Hi everyone=2C
=20
After a week of almost no migration birds began to move again on Brier Isla=
nd today (September 2). Indeed the past week has been very similar to what =
John has been reporting with his acoustic monitoring even to the single unu=
sual species seen=2C a DICKCISSEL (Friday=2C August 31).
=20
Today's movement was not large but it was certainly welcome. The most commo=
n migrant species noted were NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH and BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBL=
ER.
=20
There has been no further indication that the migration continues to be ahe=
ad of schedule and in fact=2C the past week's lack of movement has probably=
brought birds back on track with their expected migration timing.
=20
All the best=2C
