Last Thursday Lisa Eye told me she had been hearing cicadas for about
a week north of Port Williams. Also she was lucky to see one on a
telephone pole and watch it call -- it must have just emerged from
underground and then shed its nymphal skin before climbing up the
pole. Jim in Wolfville.
