Hi Susann

Thanks to your heads up, I visited the cove in front of your cottage in
Three Fathom Harbour just before noon (Saturday, July 21, 2012). Found over
200 semi-plovers, semi-sandpipers, least sandpipers, dowitchers, yellowlegs,
and willets so it was a challenge finding target birds there. Later in the
afternoon, I found 3 red knots and later 3 stilt sandpipers. No black
bellied plovers. No ruddy turnstones.

I also found a stilt sandpiper and lesser yellowlegs foraging together in a
pond across from the Lawrencetown beach building. It was fascinating
comparing the two. Took some photos.

Thanks, Susann!

Cheers
Liz
