--Apple-Mail-6-279295501 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed JULY 4, 2012 - Now in bloom in Wolfville: catalpa trees, common elderberry, Deptford pink, St. John's-wort, etc., etc. JULY 5, 2012 - Lisa Eye reports she has been watching a male cardinal with two black-billed fledged youngsters for about two weeks, at feeders along Lower Church St. north of Port Williams. The adult male has been feeding the juveniles, and the adult female has not been seen recently; presumably she is into another nesting cycle nearby? Lisa thinks the two juveniles are a male and female; perhaps she can tell us later if she is correct.
