Hi all, The season is starting well for Monarchs here. We had seven flitting around and chasing each other yesterday afternoon. That is more that we had all season last year and we hope they stay around. They will start laying eggs about now. The common milkweed is in flower and the bees are lapping up the nectar as are the butterflies. We have planted some orange flowered milkweed (butterfly weed) and it will be flowering soon.
