Index of Subjects Today at Troy Beach on the Strait of Canso I observed about 40 mature Northern Gannets feeding. Also Spotted Sandpiper, Common Tern, the usual Herring and Great Black-backed Gulls and Willets with young. Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrows observed in the marsh. Also feeding with the Gannets were several small whales. I presume Pilot wales?? DWJ -- David W. Johnston Mary K. Johnston 207 Hiram St. Port Hawkesbury N.S.
