I have a litter babies under my cottage - cute but annoying when they wake me up at 5 AM! Not so many racoons as NS I think, but skunks are much more common here. Just anecdotal but I would say foxes have increased significantly in last 20 years on PEI, skunks and racoons not so much. Although skunks are great diggers, the nest tunnels are hard to get at for a skunk - under overhanging banks - and don't appear to be excavated, One would think even after maurauding predators at least some of the birds would continue to nest. --bcaec519704bc820ca04c3e1776b Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Plenty of foxes here in PEI now - they are quite common in suburban and rur= al areas.
