Hi DW=2C
I checked the moth again and now I'm thoroughly confused. The specimen I=
have has the large triangular spot that is almost bisected by a black dash=
that runs from the body out. Behind this spot are three smaller spots and=
one very small spot. This may be H.lecontei=2C H.contigua or some other me=
mber of the Hapola genus.
   All the best.

Hi Fritz =96 I know we get H.lecontei here in NS a close cousin but disting=
uishable from other Hapola sp. I have never seen _contigua_. Perhaps Chris =
=2C Jim E. et al can shed lite on this species if they have encountered ?

Hi All=2C=20
I caught a Neighbour Moth (Hapola contigua) and when checking it out on =
line the range maps=2C I looked at=2C didn't show it occurring east of Queb=
ec. Anyone familiar with this species and how common it is in N.S.? All the=
 best.
