The recen= t reversal of indefinite closure of the Margaree Salmon Sport Fishing seaso= n is a good example.=0A=0A=A0 And some of the Budget measures may not be a= s permanent as one might imagine, because nothing passed by Parliment can n= ot be later reversed if seen fit.=0A=0A=A0 One of the most effective ways = to oppose the adverse consequences of this budget, in my opinion, is to don= ate funds to the Official Opposition, say $1200. With sufficient funding th= ey will be able to undertake good research and keep applying pressure where= it will have the greatest effect. Currently, it is the only way to exercis= e a meaningful vote.=0A=0A=A0 Secondly I intend to write the leaders of sp= linter parties (Green & Liberal) and urge them to merge with NDP in the nex= t election, on the understanding that this temporary amalgamation would ini= tiate proportional representation if elected.=0A=0AYt, Dave Webster, Kentvi= lle=0A=0A----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Whitman" <dendroica.caeru= lescens@gmail.com>=0ATo: <naturens@chebucto.ns.ca>=0ASent: Saturday, June 0= 2, 2012 4:17 PM=0ASubject: Re: [NatureNS] blackoutspeakout=0A=0A=0A> They w= ill NOT do what is right.
