TONIGHT on PBS-Boston TV, at 9 p.m. locally, Channel 4 in Valley and
Metro HRM, "NATURE" is on Pacific salmon populations. Canada's west
coast has 5 or 6 or 7 salmon species, depending on how one counts
them, including farmed and wild Atlantic salmon (!) and steelhead
"salmon" or sea-run rainbow trout -- native species include chinook,
pink, coho, sockeye, and chum salmon. I don't know anything about
the content of this program, but it should be accessible on the PBS
Web site, pbs.org .

Cheers from Jim in Wolfville.
