The weather was quite cooperative and from the data I = have received so far it seems most people had a wonderful day. It was a = Warbler Bonanza in my neck of the woods(Middle Musquodoboit) with = numbers for some species almost double that of previous years. On the = other hand my raptor and waterfowl count has some room for = improvement,(1 Osprey, 4 Geese) but I'm sure some of you have those = departments covered.=20 Now that the fun part is over remember to get your data in to me or = your county coordinator. Remember; a bird list in the hands of your = coordinator is worth two in the bush!, or something like that. Just make = sure to put the name of the county you participated in, your km = walked/drivin and the number of hours you spent birdwatching. A brief = description of the location you were counting wouldn't hurt as well as = it helps us know what areas are being covered.=20 =20 A big thanks again to all the county coordinators who I believe are = all participants as well. Your effort is what keeps the count going year = after year. Have a birdy summer and I hope to hear from you next spring, Chris No virus found in this message.
