Index of Subjects Whatever happened to the N.S. wolf that escaped years ago from John Fentress' Dalhousie wolf research compound in Shubenacadie? It was well reported in the local media at the time, but I never saw a report of its recapture. Does anyone remember if it was ever caught or killed? On reflection this probably happened after John had relinquished/lost control of the wolf compound that he had developed, and which went into slow decline as the various wolves resident there eventually died of old age.
