I spent the = morning in the Irish Mtn.-Brookville area of Pictou Co. Early on, just = after dawn, I could tell there was an increased number of Myrtle and = Palm Warblers from my last visit , but as the mist lifted, I also had 2 = Black and White Warblers and a Black-throated Green Warbler. This was = soon followed by a Nashville Warbler. Later at Willard Fraser Rd., I = had a Northern Parula and a Spotted Sandpiper. On the Brook Rd.there = were 4 singing Black-throated Green Warblers giving both versions of the = song.=20 I was able to photo a couple of American Ladies, and a Cabbage White. A = Red Admiral got away while I was aiming! I also photoed a brown Ode., = but not sure what.=20 There are still spring beauties and American fly honeysuckle in bloom = but also starting to see dwarf ginseng in bloom now. Nodding trillium = still in bud and I saw a nice patch of Dutchman's Breeches still in = bloom at Irish Mtn.
