Index of Subjects I believe she would once again write about the danger of the rampant use of pesticides that has become 'normal' in our society. DDT was demonized, and ultimately banned, b/c there was large public support to protect against the bio- accumulation in raptors leading to nest failure. Perhaps now is the time for a book to expose the overuse of pesticides and their contributing factor in the decline of aerial insectivores. http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/story/2012/04/17/tech-sci-bird-poo-tower-research.html My two cents, Chris Kennedy in Halifax Quoting John Kearney <john.kearney@ns.sympatico.ca>: > Rachel Carson in her book, Silent Spring, exposed the disregard for the > environment, human health, and wildlife in the pursuit of profit.
