This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0003_01CD1CAE.7D89C300 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi Jim: We are always grateful for your guidance.=20 Barbara and I have just completed a comprehensive turtle identification = search on the internet. We are revising all turtles sighted to PAINTED, that is, "unsnapped" = regardless of this conflicting with a third person present at our = sightings of yesterday, 16Apr12. Of the three turtles, 2 were sunbathing = on rock and log. Clean, shiny, shells; small tails.=20 In summary, we did see red, we did see small tails on three of the 4 = turtles, 3 on 16Apr, 1 on 17Apr. One of the 3 turtles we reported yesterday was in a shallow drainage = ditch, which contained enough water to allow the turtle to easily = submerge itself: i.e., on our arrival it buried itself in the mud, = water, weeds, grass: it did seem to have a significant tail, however, so = much mud: colour was not obvious. The muddy turtle was larger than the = other three reported, 2 yesterday, 1 today. Back to turtle school for B & I. This may be the end of my turtle ID'ing career....particularly if I = include our having reported a Blandings turtle on the Des Brisay Museum = property several years ago, comparing it to the specimen in the museum = display case, I was told by staff present that there were NO Blandings = Turtles on the museum property. Needless to write I was mortified..... Cheers, Pat ------=_NextPart_000_0003_01CD1CAE.7D89C300 Content-Type: text/html; charset="Windows-1252" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Dwindows-1252" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.19222"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=3D2>Hi Jim:</FONT></DIV> <DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2>We are always grateful for your guidance.=20 </FONT></DIV></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2>Barbara and I have just completed a comprehensive = turtle=20 identification search on the internet.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2>We are revising all turtles sighted to = PAINTED, that is,=20 "unsnapped" regardless of this conflicting with a third=20 person present at our sightings of yesterday, 16Apr12.
