I've been wearing them constantly now for over t= hree years without a sign of cracking or even heavy wear. They weigh a thir= d less than regular rubber boots and=2C with good heavy socks and insoles= =2C are as comfortable as slippers even on long hikes over rough terrain. T= hey are expensive (over $100.00) but well worth it for those who want to st= ay dry in boggy areas=2C wet fields and crossing small streams. I bought mine at the Neils Harbour Fisherman's Co-op but they are most lik= ely available at other stores. All the best.
