Does anyone know? Has anyone seen a female sing? I'd like to know this for other species, too, like purple finch (re brown- plumaged birds singing in Spring -- imm. males? or females?), rose- breasted grosbeaks, goldfinches, et al. Cheers from Jim Begin forwarded message: > From: AngelaJoudrey <aljoudrey@eastlink.ca> > Date: April 6, 2012 4:19:59 PM ADT > To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca > Subject: [NatureNS] Cardinals in Windsor > Reply-To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca > > I haven't seen "my" male cardinal in my backyard since after March > Break.
