The two articles I read (incl. the Herald of Apr. 3) indicate that the N.S. Dept. of Environment is working on the draft regulations for fur farms and working to make them come into effect rather than remain as "drafts". Both of the reports for N.S. Environment were done by Mike Brylinsky of the Acadia Centre for Estuarine Research at Acadia Univ. The reports are available on line at gov.ns.ca/environment/ by searching under "mink", and the most recent report is dated Feb. 2012 (based on monitoring in 2009, 2010, & 2011. Jim in Wolfville.
