Index of Subjects More signs of spring: First day on the lake paddling this year. New birds, Red Wing Blackbirds, Common Mergansers 8 4m,4f, 1 Goose still around as well as those reported lately. Saw some interesting Siskin behaviour, looked like 1 was feeding the other bird. Will read up on it to see if it is a courtship ritual, and about their nesting habits. Also Coltsfoot in bloom in my yard. And, mosquitos out while BBQ'ing supper. Awesome day to be out and aboat. (Except for the skeeters) cheers, Gary Murray Tucker Lake Beaverbank NS.
