Hi All,

Here in Dartmouth, on Glenwood Ave, was awakened to the sounds of wonderful Spring songs by the ever present Song Sparrows, Am. Goldfinches, White-throated Sparrows (saw them for the 1st time this year, this morning!) 2 Northern Cardinals, Robins (one seemed to be eyeing that old nest from last season under our deck; abit early?), Hairy & Downey Woodpeckers, all appearing in my backyard & within the green belt that borders it.
As well, I checked on the Common Gallinule at Red Bridge Pond. Took me awhile to find it, but Vogel was roaming around & foraging within the old reeds. Looked excellent. Will not take any more food for it as it appears to be doing just fine.
Checked for any sign of the Am Coot that had been by Banook Canoe Club, looked around Grahams Grove and the reedy area by the boardwalk & bridge between Lake Banook & Lake MicMac but did not see it, so it has moved on.

Welcome to Spring, everyone!
