That must be where Liz noted the observation. It was a single bird at East Wentworth, Cumberland Co., on 31 January. I never thought it would be the only one for NS all winter! John From: naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca [mailto:naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca] On Behalf Of Blake Maybank Sent: March 13, 2012 15:01 To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca Subject: Re: [NatureNS] NS Winter Birds Summary Hi Liz; On Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 14:35, Elizabeth Doull <edoull@ns.sympatico.ca> wrote: Red Crossbill - Wentworth - John Kernery I can find no posting on NatureNS for Red Crossbill from John Kearney, so it is not yet on my list. American Redstart - Murrants, Glace Bay No date, no photo, so not on the list. Grey Partridge - seen by the locals near Bible Hill. I asked some NSAC students last month and learnt they have seen them around, but not on the campus. I need confirmation from field observers. Nothing from Ross yet, so I'll wait.
