Hi all
Charlie Kendell and I made a little trip to Brule and Cape John this =
afternoon in hopes of seeing SE Owls as reported earlier by John Rubin. =
We were not successful in finding the owls, but we had a nice hovering =
Rough-legged Hawk at Cape John and a male Northern Harrier near the golf =
course at Brule. We saw a Northern Flicker at a feeder in Pictou and =
another in Brule. We saw 15 Snow Buntings at Seafoam, 40 at Skinners =
Cove and 1 with a large flock of 2500? Starlings at Cape John. On the =
way home we saw 3 Pine Grosbeaks just west of River John.=20
cheers
Ken
