Well there is nothing like a looming storm to bring in the customers =
to the feeders and bushes. A flock of 40 Robins showed up suddenly this =
morning - it sounded like spring out there. A few minutes later a huge =
number of Bohemian Waxwings arrived and stayed for a couple of hours. I =
got up to 140 and gave up as they kept moving about. Everything else in =
the area then joined in. I had 50 Goldfinch, 45 Starlings and about 20 =
Mourning Doves. 8 Blue Jays and 9 Crows. There were 4 Juncos - I haven't =
seen any for a month, and even 4 female Pheasants showed up to join the =
regular 2 males. The male cardinal came by for a few minutes but seemed =
intimidated by the hoard.

The Waxwings are impressive when they fly as a flock, They wheel just =
the way the peeps do in late summer.
