I think others have mentioned house sparrows=2C but there were 29 in Lunenb=
urg today. Shirley Cohrs and Lize Bell found a dickcissel on Lawrence Stre=
et in Lunenburg a few days ago. I got to see this bird today. It is a lov=
ely bright male. This one is already on the DOWL though. They also had a =
broad-winged hawk between Lunenburg and Mahone Bay which would be new for t=
he list. Not new for the DOWL was a female Barrows goldeneye that they fou=
nd in Mahone Bay and two male Barrow's goldeneyes that they saw in Lunenbur=
g. =20

I was advised of a yellow-breasted chat today=2C that has been tending behi=
nd the office for the new Bluenose on the Lunenburg waterfront for three we=
eks now=2C every day. The red-headed woodpecker at Pleasant River has been=
 seen since February started. It is starting to change colour on the head=
 now to the adult plumage. =20
