Two years ago, Nick and I took a trip to Nfld. =A0We travelled up the west =
coast, all the way up to L'Anse aux Meadows and stopped briefly at Burnt Ca=
pe Park Reserve. =A0At first glance, the whole place seemed like a we were =
on top of a huge boulder-nothing growing there but alas the guide showed us=
all the arctic plants that were growing below our feet. =A0There was a wil=
low tree that grew along the ground rather then upright. =A0Many of the flo=
wers were very tiny but very beautiful.=0A=0AI found a couple of Cypripediu=
m calceolus v parviflorum (but not sure) that were only 2-3 inches high and=
in bloom. =A0I posted a picture in my gallery for those who want to look. =
