If any of the net contributors find themselves in East Central Florida in the next couple of months and would like to go out for a couple of hours in the Indian River Lagoon, I have a boat on North Hutchinson Island between Vero Beach and Ft Pierce and would be happy to take up to a couple of people out, Pro Bono of course. There are always lots of waders as well as the usual Anhingas and Vultures. Also lots of dolphins up close and later in February and in March, manatees, that for some reason breed in our lagoon. I am on e-mail every day when we arrive.
