Seasons Greeting Dusan=0AWith deer, it is the males that scratch the saplin=

 was in Keji and doing the trail that goes out to Channel lake from=0ABig D=

cratched =0Aevery year or so. =0A=A0=A0=A0I understand that tree scratching=
s are =0Aterritorial markers.=A0There seems to be no scent associated with =
the =0Ascratchings, as the two dogs in our party were totally oblivious to =
