hi folks,

a quick tour around valley this morning - between 7-10 am:

- Woodman's Grove in Wolfville, no sign of Eastern Towhee, but saw and
heard BLUE-HEADED VIREO
- Marsh, North, across road from Hennigar's Farm Market - NORTHERN CARDINAL
pair
- Marsh, behind Port Williams skating pond - NORTHERN CARDINAL male, 2 SONG
SPARROWS, family (1 adult 3 juvs) of NORTHER FLICKERS
- pond, south side of Saxon Street between Blueberry Acres and Sheffield
Mills Research Station - 6 HOODED MERGANSERS. Couldn't get great looks as
they were at the far end of the pond, but at least 3 appeared to be
juveniles - family?

lots of Bald Eagles, Red-Tailed Hawks and other usual suspects...

cheers,
James.
