Yep.  I heard them in Windsor while out dog walking. Lots of nightcrawlers
on the pavement and one squished beyond recognition frog of some sort. It
wasn't till I peeled him off the pavement to see if I could tell what kind
and was and then set / flung  him into the long grass on the side of the
road, that I thought I should have checked his feet.
