Hi all
The Snow Goose (white morph) was still visible at the Linacy Golf Course this afternoon, Nov. 18 about 3 p.m.and again as Mike King indicated when he saw it this morning, quite easy
to pick from the 100+ Canada Geese as seen from the TCH 104 between exit 26 and 27A, north side of the road.
Also about 2 weeks ago, Marg & Chris Herman had a Red-bellied Woodpecker strike a window in their yard on N. Albert St., New Glasgow. After a few hours resting in a cat cage-( without the cat!), the bird revived quite nicely and seemed fine on release and was seen the next day. They have not seen it since then, but it likely is still around New Glasgow somewhere.
cheers
Ken
