I wouldn't count on the Windsor mine reopening any time soon. The one =20=

in Milford is down to almost a third of what its production was a few =20=

years ago. There are many cities in the US that are starting to tear =20
down many of the abandoned houses left from the mortgage crisis. =20
Detroit alone is tearing down 10,000 to start:

and gypsum is easy to recycle.

The other problem noted in the article that was in the Herald, is the =20=

increasing use of synthetic gypsum. The way you take sulphur out of =20
oli and coal plant emissions is to spray ground up limestone into the =20=

hot gas and you get poweded gypsum, which is near the places where you =20=

need gyproc and not at the end of a long (and with oil back over $100 =20=

a barrel) increasingly expensive boat trip=85
