This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_Yd+yM3jFPrwSJkjqlS1o9g) Content-type: text/plain; CHARSET=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT ----- Original Message ----- From: Hans Toom To: NS-RBA Sent: Tuesday, November 15, 2011 12:28 PM Subject: Harlequin Ducks, Ruddy Duck, American Pipit and Red-necked Grebes Yesterday and today at Duncan's Cove there were three Red-necked Grebes foraging. Also yesterday, near the entrance to the cove on the south end behind Cormorant Rock(my name) was a female Ruddy Duck. Today there were four Harlequin Ducks between the mainland and the first shoal of Duncan Reef. A rather shy American Pipit refused to pose for me but a lovely bird to see nonetheless. If I could match a calm day with a low tide I'm sure this area would be productive.
