All: Liz Doull has noted the Massachusetts Brown Booby as being possibly the one that perished here 20-22 October. I had checked that bird some time ago. It seems to have been last seen around 11 October, and although a first-year bird, photos suggest it had a bit more contrast between dark breast and paler belly - but, maybe . . . Also of interest is a Magnificent Frigatebird found in Maine 20 Oct. It was a subadult, so not the same as ours, but was surely part of the same event that brought ours. Cheers, Ian Ian McLaren
