This morning David Walmark had a great egret and a snowy egret at Crescent =
Beach=2C Lunenburg County. =20
=20
Dorothy Poole=2C and I went back there after Nellie's Funeral and these bir=
ds had moved. The great egret was still visible but far distant on the sho=
reline. Shorebirds present were one lesser yellowleg=2C 130 sanderlings=2C=
 50 black-bellied plovers=2C one white-rumped sandpiper=2C 10 dunlins=2C an=
d one American golden plover. We also saw one common tern and 44 ring-bill=
ed gulls. This is one area locally that ring-billed gulls can be found yea=
r round outside of winter. Otherwise it is a hard bird to see in this area=
. =20
