Index of Subjects We have sporadic reports and sightings (generally one every 5 years or so) including Yarmouth, Cape Breton (Federation of Naturalists meeting), as well as Halifax Harbour. These are, essentially extra-limital. I will check other archive sources. There are some interesting fossil remains in various places such as the famous 1871 walrus skeleton found near Moncton (dated 9700 +/-130 B.P.). Are there any from the region of Halifax?
