Tuesday, October 4, 2011 Ann Doull reported: In the middle of the morning I looked out and there were grackles everywhere. It must have been hundreds in the trees, lawns, and backyards [in the block]. A pair of red eyed vireos were poking around in the apple tree. The leaves in the big oak trees were so thick that it was hard to see anything up there. Cheers, liz
