All: It tried for the Baird's Sparrow at the top of the gated road from Duncan's Cove, without success. A Baltimore Oriole, a N. Parula, Blue Grosbeak, and several Blackpolls and "Myrtles" were hardly consolation prizes. Of interest along the shore road at Portuguese Cove were 2 Indigo Buntings and a fly-in, fly-out quintet of Bobolinks, last seen heading s.w. over the forest. Cheers, Ian Ian McLaren
