All:

Hartlen Pt., HRM, this a.m. was lively, but with no rarities that I
could find. As expected the northerlies brought in quite a good number
of migrants. Most interesting were about 50 animated Savannah Sparrows
flitting around the entrance gate; they had gone on my return via the
same gate. They didn't seem especially dark, so may not have come from
as far as the Ungava Peninsula. There were plenty of warblers in Back
Cove - several score "Myrtle" and smaller numbers of Blackpoll and
(Yellow) Palm.

Always nice to savour migration good events. The coming weather might
bring stuff from the Southwest.

Cheers, Ian
