There are several leaf beetles (Chrysomelidae) in our area that feed
on Daucus carota including:

	Acalymma vittata (Fabricius)
	Capraita subvittata (Horn)
	Charidotella sexpunctata bicolor (Fabricius)
	Diabrotica undecimpunctata howardi Barber
	Diachus auratus (Fabricius)
	Epitrix cucumeris (Harris)
	Phyllotreta striolata (Fabricius)
	Systena frontalis (Fabricius)

In the main they feed on foliage; I'm not sure if any of them feed on
seeds.

There are also a couple of seed weevils:

	Acanthoscelides obtectus (Say)
	Megacerus discoideus (Say)

That have been recorded on the foliage of D. carota, but I'm not aware
of records of them feeding on the seeds.

Cheers!

Chris
