There were lots of= warblers that came in and went out that we did not id. A few hundred at l= east. Other birds were with them as well that we could not relocate. Larg= er black-bird size birds=2C but not blackbirds. Possibly rose-breasted gro= sbeak or some other species. Wayne had a yellow-bellied flycatcher and Lin= coln sparrows. A barn swallow was seen Saturday morning by some. David Wa= lmark had a swallow that I did not see by the hostel=2C which likely was th= at bird. Others saw some species that I do not have listed. I likely forg= ot to write some down as it was hard to keep track of everything that we sa= w. There also was a possible pine warbler=2C but I did not get a good enou= gh look at it to say that yes it was. At the time Bruce Stevens spotted th= e bird and I thought that it was=2C but it might have been another species.= The weekend total on the island as far as I can tell with comparing the l= ist with Wayne and adding in some that I was not aware of comes to 86. Way= ne did get to see 5-6 Atlantic puffins on the other pelagic. =20 =20 Brier Island=2C Digby=2C CA-NS Sep 18=2C 2011 6:50 AM - 1:10 PM Protocol: Traveling 6.1 kilometer(s) 40 species =20 Common Eider 3 Common Loon 1 Northern Gannet 5 Double-crested Cormorant 12 Great Blue Heron 2 Osprey 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk 4 Broad-winged Hawk 30 Herring Gull 8 Great Black-backed Gull 2 Ruby-throated Hummingbird 1 Belted Kingfisher 1 Northern Flicker 18 Eastern Wood-Pewee 3 Blue-headed Vireo 5 Red-eyed Vireo 4 American Crow 5 Common Raven 1 Black-capped Chickadee 9 Red-breasted Nuthatch 1 Golden-crowned Kinglet 4 Eastern Bluebird 3 Cedar Waxwing 78 Black-and-white Warbler 4 Orange-crowned Warbler 2 Nashville Warbler 4 Common Yellowthroat 5 American Redstart 3 Northern Parula 5 Magnolia Warbler 5 Blackburnian Warbler 2 Yellow Warbler 3 Chestnut-sided Warbler 7 Black-throated Blue Warbler 1 Yellow-rumped Warbler 19 Black-throated Green Warbler 8 Savannah Sparrow 3 Song Sparrow 6 Red-winged Blackbird 1 American Goldfinch 15 = --_5384b7a9-a8ae-4078-8fd0-3497ab7ba10c_ Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

<body class=3D'hmmessage'><div dir=3D'ltr'> Hi all:
=3B
Here is a list of what I positively saw and identified. =3B There were = lots of warblers that came in and went out that we did not id. =3B A fe= w hundred at least. =3B Other birds were with them as well that we coul= d not relocate. =3B Larger black-bird =3Bsize birds=2C but not blac= kbirds. =3B Possibly rose-breasted grosbeak or some other species. = =3B Wayne had a yellow-bellied flycatcher and Lincoln sparrows. =3B A b= arn swallow was seen Saturday morning by some. =3B David Walmark had a = swallow that I did not see by the hostel=2C which likely was that bird.&nbs= p=3B Others saw some species that I do not have listed. =3B I likely fo= rgot to write some down as it was hard to keep track of everything that we = saw. =3B There also was a possible pine warbler=2C but I did not get a = good enough look at it to say that yes it was. =3B At the time Bruce St= evens spotted the bird and I thought that =3Bit was=2C but it might hav= e been another species. =3B The weekend total on the island as far as I= can tell with comparing the list with Wayne and adding in some that I was = not aware of comes to 86. =3B Wayne did get to see 5-6 Atlantic puffins= on the other pelagic. =3B
=3B
Brier Island=2C Digby=2C CA-NS
Sep 18=2C 2011 6:50 AM - 1:10 PM
Proto= col: Traveling
6.1 kilometer(s)
40 species

Common Eider 3
= Common Loon 1
Northern Gannet 5
Double-crested Cormorant 12
Great = Blue Heron 2
Osprey 1
Sharp-shinned Hawk 4
Broad-winged Hawk 30
Herring Gull 8
Great Black-backed Gull 2
Ruby-throated Hummingbird 1=
Belted Kingfisher 1
Northern Flicker 18
Eastern Wood-Pewee 3
B= lue-headed Vireo 5
Red-eyed Vireo 4
American Crow 5
Common Raven 1=
Black-capped Chickadee 9
Red-breasted Nuthatch 1
Golden-crowned K= inglet 4
Eastern Bluebird 3
Cedar Waxwing 78
Black-and-white Warbl= er 4
Orange-crowned Warbler 2
Nashville Warbler 4
Common Yellowthr= oat 5
American Redstart 3
Northern Parula 5
Magnolia Warbler 5
= Blackburnian Warbler 2
Yellow Warbler 3
Chestnut-sided Warbler 7
B= lack-throated Blue Warbler 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler 19
Black-throated = Green Warbler 8
Savannah Sparrow 3
Song Sparrow 6
Red-winged Black= bird 1
American Goldfinch 15

= --_5384b7a9-a8ae-4078-8fd0-3497ab7ba10c_--
