I decided to check the Temperance St. school tonight to see if they might be using this as a roost, but in the time period I observed, they did not make an appearance. However while looking at the chimney at 8:10, I saw the Space Station make a pass. The afternoon swifts are likely using a different chimney and maybe the pair nesting or nested in the Stellarton area. My last observations of swifts at Temperance St school were 2 at dusk Aug. 21, but I did not seem them go in. I also saw 1one go in at 8:18 Aug. 23. I had a call from Elwin Hemphill tonight who had spoken with someone who saw the Denmark Sandhill Cranes a couple of days ago. cheers Ken --Boundary_(ID_dNIMVLytuknc6a9NtiGQdg) Content-type: text/html; CHARSET=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META name=GENERATOR content="MSHTML 8.00.6001.19120"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Ken McKenna<BR>Box 218 Stellarton NS<BR>B0K 1S0<BR>902 752-7644<BR></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Hi all</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>While walking to the Stellarton post office today at noon break from work, I heard the tinkling of overhead Chimney Swifts and located 2 flying in the region of the Town</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Office, an area where I had seen them earlier this summer.
