Paul From: naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca [mailto:naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca] On Behalf Of Paul Evans Sent: August-29-11 11:07 PM To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca Subject: [NatureNS] Eastern Shore birding (Aug 29) Just re-subscribed to the list after unsubscribing before holidays earlier in the summer. This evening we did a short birding run and have two notable observations. Along Conrad Beach Road, on the mud flats to the left going towards the beach, were two Whimbrel. Along Dyke Road in Grand Desert we saw a Yellow-crowned Night Heron (immediately opposite Golden Rod Lane). Also saw several Black-bellied Plovers. I have a few pictures that I should be able to post tomorrow.
