Thanks Mary. Guess I should have known that, but didn't realize it could be that colour. Now I wonder what those tiny frog-like creatures are that I see hopping or crawling along the beach at the lake beside our cottage. They are dull earth colours and just the size of my small fingernail. Any idea? Guess they aren't spring peepers.

Sharon

While on a photography tour of the Historic Gardens in Annapolis Royal on August 11, members of the Champlain Garden Club were delighted to find a tiny frog tucked inside one of the daylilies. Its colouring was much the same as the flower and it was about the size of a loonie. We would very much appreciate an ID.
