--Apple-Mail-5-294642825 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed; delsp=yes Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi all, Many of us saw Rob Ronconi's very cool Bird Society talk a couple years ago about tracking shearwaters all over the Atlantic with satellite tags. Now he's working with Phil Taylor at Acadia to figure out the movements of gulls to and from Sable Island. He's got a blog on the work that's worth a look -- and that shows what these marked gulls look like and how to report them. Here's the link: http://sableislandgulls.wordpress.com/ The gulls might range pretty widely, so it'd be worth keeping an eye out, no matter where you happen to be birding. Enjoy, Andy Horn Halifax --Apple-Mail-5-294642825 Content-Type: text/html; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>Many of us saw Rob Ronconi's very cool Bird Society talk a couple years ago about tracking shearwaters all over the Atlantic with satellite tags.</div><div><br></div><div>Now he's working with Phil Taylor at Acadia to figure out the movements of gulls to and from Sable Island.
