Sandhill Cranes this morning, Aug 15 (~9:30 a.m.) in approximately the same area described in an earlier email from Randy Lauff. They were in a cut hayfield on Rte. 376 between Denmark and East Earltown. (NAD 83 488931 5058155). I was travelling from the north and the location was 4km south of Forbes Bros. furniture store or 7.8km south of intersection of Rte. 6 and 376. The 4 were together on the east side of the road and were a little wary as I pulled over. I did not get out of my vehicle, but they did move back in the field closer to the woods.
