August 8, 2011 The 2 Hudsonian Godwits have moved from Lawrencetown Lake area and were today at 12:00 located in the marsh beside the road to Conrad Beach. There are still only 2 of them as far as I can tell. I added today's pictures to my gallery. I also came across a very tame juvenile Willet - or that's what I believe it is - if I am incorrect please let me know. The bird does not quite match any of the pictures of juvenile Willets that I have in field guides. The bill and legs seem right but the solid black eye stripe seems odd.
