John Klomo found 2 Black vultures on August 1, 2011 so maybe they were the same ones John Robinson saw last week? Liz ................ There were two Black Vultures today at 6PM on Highway 11 at Beresford, 3km SE of exit 318. I have posted photos on the birding New Brunswick website (http://birdingnewbrunswick.ning.com/forum/topics/2-black-vultures-beresford). I watched the birds for about 10 minutes. They then flew off toward the northeast. I don't think they left the area though, they seemed to go down into the trees just out of sight. Cheers, John Klomo ............... Monday, July 25, 2011 I saw 2 black vultures at about 6:30 p.m. flying over my house and was wondering if there were any other sightings in the area. They came from the W NW and proceeded to the SE. John Robinson In a follow-up, to ensure they were black vultures, and not turkey vultures, he replied: There was no doubt that they were Black Vultures, the white wing tips were too obvious and their flight fits their flight description. I have seen Turkey Vultures here, actually out my front window on New Years day several years ago, also Mike Oulton and I talked about the Turkey Vultures hanging around his farm at the same time. ------=_NextPart_000_0089_01CC5112.2AAE02D0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.19088"></HEAD> <BODY style=3D"BACKGROUND-COLOR: #fff" bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3D"Times New Roman"> <DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3D"Times New Roman">Interesting...
